Our translator states this document concerns the awarding of a medal called "The Order of Guadalupe" and is signed twice with national sunburst seal attached. It was awarded to a gallant and meritorious captain. Considerably more significant than we realized! Note - Hand signed twice by General Santa Ana of "The Alamo" fame.
